The Jacob Dangler House, the mansion that has sat on the corner of Willoughby and Nostrand Avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant for 120 years, was demolished this summer. I propose the Dangler Community Center as a way to bring life back to the empty lot where the building once stood. It will take on all the responsibilities of the Dangler House, providing a welcoming meeting space for residents of this community.
